Project description:
In 2016, the unison Group, together with the State Agency of Architecture and Construction (Gosstroy) under the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic, and international consultants from France and Slovakia have developed a Roadmap on Implementation of the Law of the Kyrgyz Republic on Energy Efficiency of Buildings. The document was developed on the project "Building a Policy Dialogue in Energy Efficiency in Kyrgyzstan" under the The Kyrgyz Sustainable Financing Facility Programm, Phase II (KyrSEFF II) of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) with the assistance and financial support of the European Union Investment Fund opportunities for Central Asia "(IFCA).
Description of services provided by Unison:
The group of experts, coordinated by Unison Group, conducted great job to harmonize existing by-laws and requirements for energy efficiency of buildings at the design, construction, operation and reconstruction stages.
Outputs/Impact:
The road map will eliminate the standard technical, legislative and financial barriers to improving energy efficiency in buildings. The document is relevant in the light of the tasks assigned to the construction industry to improve the quality and safety of construction, reduce energy consumption and improve the energy efficiency of buildings.
