The objective of the assignment is to support the development of the ESMAP-funded energy efficiency (EE) roadmap for public buildings in the Kyrgyz Republic by supporting the collection and analysis of relevant information/data.

Tasks:

• Collection of data/ information for the assessment of the EE potential in the public sector
• Collection and review of data/ information relevant to identify legal, regulatory, institutional, technical and other key barriers hampering EE investments in the public buildings sector
• Walk-through energy audits in selected facilities in Chui and Talas Oblast
• Market assessment on renewable energy technologies
• Capacity building workshop for local construction industry
