UNISON Group expert Bakyt Askarbekov was awarded the International Award for Outstanding Achievements in Consulting 2025 in the category "Environmental Responsibility, Sustainable Energy" established by the Gabriel Al-Salem Foundation.
This award is an annual tradition, founded in 2012, and recognizes outstanding achievements in consulting from around the world.
Bakyt Askarbekov's project "Energy Efficiency and Environmental Sustainability" for the cottage village "Aport" in Bosteri, Issyk-Kul district, became a real breakthrough in the field of green construction.
Bakyt Askarbekov successfully implemented modern treatment facilities and energy-efficient drainage systems in this village, minimizing the discharge of wastewater into the lake.
Thus, he made a significant contribution to the preservation of one of the most important natural resources of the country.
In addition, the project includes a water reuse system that allows purified water to be used for irrigation and technical needs. This not only reduces waste, but also promotes rational water management. For this outstanding contribution to sustainable development, Bakyt Askarbekov deservedly received the prestigious award.
This year, outstanding consultants from the Kyrgyz Republic, Tajikistan, Ukraine and India were awarded.
The projects that received the awards are closely linked to the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), address global issues and contribute to meaningful and long-term change.
