For example, UNISON Group supported the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic in finalizing the Law of the Kyrgyz Republic “On Energy Efficiency of Buildings” №137 dated July 26, 2011.
According to this law, all designed buildings must meet the minimum energy efficiency requirements - class B.
Work was also carried out on the draft Law of the Kyrgyz Republic “On Amendments to Some Legislative Acts of the Kyrgyz Republic in the Sphere of Energy Saving”, including the Laws “On Energy Saving” and “On Energy Efficiency of Buildings”.
Thus, the Law of the Kyrgyz Republic “On Energy Saving” became the basis for the creation of an effective institutional and regulatory framework aimed at improving energy efficiency.
In particular, Article 9 of the Law on Energy Inspections clearly states that such inspections should be carried out only by certified specialists who have undergone state certification by authorized bodies.
With the assistance of UNISON Group, the State Register of Energy Certificates for Buildings, Certified Specialists and Boiler Energy Efficiency Reports was established. In addition, building standards for heating, ventilation, air conditioning, boiler installations, thermal protection of buildings were developed.
