Energy efficiency

UNISON Group supports the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic in promoting energy efficiency and strengthening energy sector management to ensure continuous and reliable access to energy for the population.

UNISON Group works to strengthen the legislative and regulatory framework to define the path for innovation and promote a green economy. Implementation of pilot projects demonstrating various opportunities, combining modern technologies with local traditions, raising awareness and literacy among local energy consumers are also among the main areas of Unison Group's activities. Thus, UNISON Group supported the Zhogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic in finalizing the Law of the Kyrgyz Republic "On Energy Efficiency of Buildings" No. 137 dated July 26, 2011.

According to this law, all designed buildings must meet the minimum energy efficiency requirements - class B.

Work was also underway on the draft Law of the Kyrgyz Republic "On Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of the Kyrgyz Republic in the Sphere of Energy Saving", including the laws "On Energy Saving" and "On Energy Efficiency of Buildings". Thus, the Law of the Kyrgyz Republic "On Energy Saving" became the basis for creating an effective institutional and regulatory framework aimed at improving energy efficiency.

In particular, Article 9 of the Law on Energy Surveys clearly states that such surveys should only be carried out by certified specialists who have passed state certification in authorized bodies. Thanks to the assistance of UNISON Group, the State Register of Energy Certificates of Buildings, Certified Specialists and Energy Efficiency Reports for Boilers was established. In addition, building codes for heating, ventilation, air conditioning, boiler installations, and thermal protection of buildings were developed.

You can get more detailed information about these documents, as well as identify the appropriate energy expert for your needs, check the issuance or availability of a building energy efficiency certificate, or check whether a boiler or heating system has been tested on the website https://energoreestr.kg/
