Description of services:
- Creation of the Council of the Transparency Initiative in the Fuel and Energy Complex, consisting of 8 representatives from public organizations, 4 representatives from energy companies at the level of Deputy Director General and 4 representatives from the Ministry of Energy at the level of Deputy Ministers and Minister of Energy.
Result/ Impact:
- The cost of Kyrgyzstan's energy system development projects has been reduced by about $200 million.
- Disclosure of corruption in the amount of more than 73 million The sum of unreasonably written-off accounts receivable in 2010 (by the management of subordinate enterprises of OAO Severelectro in relations with consumers)
- Saving electricity worth about 200 thousand rubles. by reducing electricity losses in distribution company networks from 39% in 2010 to 22.3% in 2011
- The return to consumers of more than 8.5 million SOM accrued in the form of unjustified fines or incorrectly billed electricity (an indirect result of the activities of IPTEK and NS IPTEK) through the efforts of a network of public energy consumer protection centers established on the basis of civil society organizations and promoting the interests of the public "from bottom to top".
