The Khan Tenir Restaurant is part of the Dasmia complex with a capacity of 800 seats. In 2016, a solar system consisting of 12 solar collectors and 2 heat pumps was installed there, heating 1300 m2 of area. The system is capable of heating up to 4 tons of water per day. Due to the installation of a solar system for heating and hot water supply, the facility is completely autonomous from the urban heat supply system. In order to increase the energy efficiency of the building, the floor was insulated, energy-efficient windows and LED lamps were installed. The complex of implemented energy efficiency measures allows the restaurant to save up to 211 MWh of energy per year (or 35% of the base value), while reducing CO2 emissions by more than 36 tons per year.
