Narrative description/ Abstract of Project Objectives

This project included the revision of existing energy efficiency legislation and development of recommendations for technical regulations and secondary legislation. Unison prepared tools and instruments to facilitate implementation and reinforcement of energy efficiency laws. Project activities also included capacity building activities (such as seminars, conference, radio and TV sessions) and the establishment of regulations for minimal energy requirements on new and renovated buildings.

Description of services provided by Unison

Unison contributed to this project by coordinating the working group, which consisted of local authorities and international and national experts. Unison was also responsible for collecting data and reviewing existing legislation in joint cooperation with GOSTROY (Seismic Institute)
